About Jen

Jen started her tattoo career in 1995 while studying illustration and printmaking at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her love of vintage imagery and pop culture has shaped her unique style, with influences from old master painters, early 1900s ephemera, botanical engravings, mid-century glamor, pulp art, and everyday life. Throughout her career, Jen has participated in many group exhibitions. Her work has also been published in several books and catalogs.

After years of tattooing at multiple shops and conventions throughout the US and Europe, Jen found her home at the legendary Ed Hardy’s Tattoo City in 2008. Located in San Francisco’s historic North Beach neighborhood, Tattoo City boasts a private experience for all clients with dedicated enclosed rooms for each artist in residence. Easily walkable amenities include a variety of restaurants, cafes, parks, bars, and hotels (if you’re traveling).

In 2022, Jen received advanced training in medical tattooing, and is now using this specialized skill set to help individuals reclaim their bodies and their lives through 3D areola tattooing, scar camouflage, and microneedling scar therapy. She has found immense satisfaction in this work, and a new passion for bringing excellence to this aspect of her craft.

Jen lives in the Bay Area with her husband and their two dogs. In her spare time, she loves to cook, garden, paint, travel, and hunt for vintage treasures.
